On January 10, our Dast2Dast team of directors delivered to the shelter a much needed supply of food. All this food (see list below) was possible because of the generous contributions of our supporters.
On December 15, 2014 I wrote a blog with a plea for help. I shared with you that we
“noticed that the pantry shelves were empty and the refrigerators/freezers were sparse. After talking with a manager, we learned that donations are down. We asked the chef for a list of items they needed and he provided one.”
Over the next four weeks, we were able to gather funds to help this shelter feed a few more people. The chef was amazed, surprised and thankful that we actually followed through on our commitment. He could not thank Dast2Dast enough.
Thank you! Thank you!
While we put a great dent in their shortage, they still need our support and help. If you are able to, please either bring canned goods to the shelter or donate online and the Directors will buy the supplies and deliver to the shelter.
Thank you again for being part of the elite group of people who put others ahead of themselves.
