As of 11/17/2017:
We are collecting monetary donations and/or new winter clothing (socks, hats, gloves, sweaters, etc.) to gift homeless individuals for Christmas during our shelter dinner on 12/23. If you would like to participate please contact me or make an online donation. Please make your contribution by Monday December 20, so that we’ll have enough time to purchase winter clothes and gift wrap.

Bailey’s Cross Road Shelter, under the new management, no longer accepts cloths donations!
Bailey’s Cross Road Shelter warmly welcomes donations of clothing and shoes. Most donations are directly donated to the residents. You can drop off your donations during the day or on Saturdays during our shelter dinner events.
Also, for those living in the Reston/Herndon area, The Closet of the Greater Herndon Area Inc. at 845 Station Street, 703.437.7652, accepts cloth donations among other items, from 8 AM to 3 PM Monday-Saturday. Embry Rucker Community Shelter residents receive vouchers to shop there.
