From December to March, we assist Northern Virginia Family Service at Bailey’s Crossroads Community Shelter in their Hypothermia Prevention Program.
Each year we help them feed more than 100 homeless individuals per month during the Hypothermia Prevention Program since they need the help of the Community to assist with the people most vulnerable to the outside elements, our homeless populations here in Fairfax County.
We will be serving more than 100 homeless men and women starting December 1st through March 31st. Serving will be done in two parts. Once at 5 PM for one group and then at 6 PM for the second group. Servers serving at 5 PM must be at the shelter by 4 PM and we should be done by 7 PM. More information will be provided via email.
Please forward this to anyone who you think might be interested in participating as we are going to need more volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us.
Thank you each and everyone of you!
