I would like to personally thank each and every one of you, our wonderful, committed and amazing volunteers, for the time, energy and commitment you give. We are so grateful to be able to work alongside such wonderful people, with such dedication and care for others. Your contribution means the world to us and the homeless you feed.
We would like to thank our volunteers who so generously give their time, energy and spirit and to our financial donors who enable us to effectively carry out our mission and provide food for the homeless. New faces dotted this year’s volunteer landscape but all were welcomed, mentored and made to feel at home by those of you who continue to volunteer year after year. Without your leadership we would be lost and without new blood we would not have the bright future that lays out ahead of us. Once again, Dast2Dast was blessed with several generous donations from our wonderful donors. This could not have happened at a better time since the pantry at the Falls Church Shelter was running very low. Our dedicated board members went shopping. …
On January 10, our Dast2Dast team of directors delivered to the shelter a much needed supply of food. All this food (see list below) was possible because of the generous contributions of our supporters.
Thank you! Thank you! While we put a great dent in their shortage, they still need our support and help. If you are able to, please either bring canned goods to the shelter or donate online and the Directors will buy the supplies and deliver to the shelter.
