There is something about the songs, colors, even the smell in the air which seems to reassure that no matter how bad everything else might be things are going to be OK…This year was perhaps one of the best. As part of Dast2Dast I had a chance to share a tiny part of that warmth and love with our homeless neighbors. Not only, like every month through generous donation of time, food, and money from our donors we prepared a wonderful dinner for all to enjoy, but because it was Christmas, we also wanted to give everyone at the shelter a Christmas present…
Iranian Woman With Young Child Needs Our Help
I am writing because an Iranian woman and her 7-year old child need our help. They are currently staying at a women’s shelter in southern California. In 2 weeks, they will have to leave the shelter and have nowhere to go… Please reach out to all of your California contacts to see if we can find her a job ASAP..

Bailey’s Cross Road Shelter warmly welcomes donations of clothing and shoes. Most donations are directly donated to the residents. You can drop off your donations during the day or on Saturdays during our shelter dinner events.
